How the exam actually works
The written part is a set of tasks in which you watch, listen to or read a stimulus and then write a text for a stated genre, purpose and reader. There are no multiple-choice items and no grammar section. Your comprehension is judged only indirectly, through whether what you wrote shows that you understood the source.
One certificate is issued at one of four performance bands, and candidates below the entry threshold receive none. INEP publishes no CEFR correspondence, so the B1–C2 equivalence tables circulating online are third-party interpretations. This page does not repeat them.
