Do I have to sit all four papers?

No. Reading appears in SIELE Global and also in the smaller modality packages, so you can take a subset if that is what you need.

How should I practise for a test that spans levels?

A paper that spans levels

Because the difficulty range is inside the paper, there is no point studying "to SIELE B2". You will meet items above and below wherever you currently sit, and your score is the honest answer to where that is. That makes SIELE unusually well matched to level-adaptive practice, and unusually badly matched to cramming a single band’s vocabulary list.

Reading is the first of the four papers in SIELE Global, it is automatically marked, and its published share of the total is printed on this page with its source. Reading also appears inside the smaller S1 and S2 modality packages, so you can sit it without the full four papers.

Three varieties of Spanish, mandatorily

Every SIELE paper mixes at least three varieties of Spanish. A learner trained only on peninsular Spanish will meet Latin American vocabulary and usage under exam conditions, and vice versa. This is the single most actionable fact on the page: deliberately read across varieties in the weeks before you sit, rather than deepening one.
