Three tasks that test three different things
Multiple choice on a text is ordinary comprehension. Vero/falso is denser than it looks, because the wrong statements are usually true-sounding paraphrases with one detail changed. The third task — text reconstruction, where scrambled parts have to be put back in order — is not a comprehension task at all in the usual sense: it tests whether you can feel how Italian sentences connect.
Wrong or omitted answers score zero, so there is never a reason to leave an item blank. The awarding body does not publish the numeric sufficiency threshold per skill, and the certificate requires reaching it in every skill — a candidate who falls short in some skills receives an attestato di capitalizzazione and may re-sit only those, within a published window.
